MasterShield® Gutter Protection — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 2026 Last Updated: March 2026

Understanding Our Privacy Policy and Data Practices

This website, MasterShield.com (the “Site”), is owned and operated by MGP Manufacturing LLC (“MGP,” “MasterShield®,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a manufacturer of gutter protection systems headquartered in Paterson, New Jersey. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information obtained through this Site.

Important Dealer Notice. MasterShield® gutter protection products are sold and installed exclusively through independently owned and operated authorized dealers (“Dealers”). MGP Manufacturing LLC is the manufacturer and brand owner; it is not a party to any transaction between you and a Dealer. Each Dealer operates as a separate legal entity with its own privacy practices. When you contact or transact with a Dealer, that Dealer’s privacy policy governs the information you provide to them. We encourage you to review the applicable Dealer’s privacy policy before sharing personal information with any Dealer.

This Policy applies only to information collected through this Site. It does not govern information collected offline, through other websites, via email campaigns, or through Dealer websites or operations.

This Privacy Policy, together with the MasterShield® Terms of Use and Disclaimer, collectively governs your use of MasterShield.com. All three documents should be read together.

This Site is intended for users located in the United States. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

Telephone and Text Communications. If you provide a telephone number through any form on this Site, you acknowledge that an authorized Dealer or MGP Manufacturing LLC may contact you at that number by telephone or text message, including using automated dialing technology, to follow up on your request. Consent to receive such communications is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to opt out of marketing messages at any time. Text HELP for support. Neither MGP Manufacturing LLC nor wireless carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of marketing messages does not opt you out of transactional or service-related communications directly related to a request you have submitted, such as dealer referral confirmations or responses to your inquiry. To opt out of all communications, contact us at privacy@mastershield.com.

Automated and AI-Assisted Communications. We may use marketing automation tools and AI-assisted systems (including platforms such as HighLevel) to help send follow-up communications, route inquiries, personalize messages, and improve the speed and quality of our responses. While we use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, automated systems may occasionally produce errors or unexpected results. If you believe you have received a communication in error, please contact us at privacy@mastershield.com and we will address it promptly.

By using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any term of this Policy, please do not use this Site or submit any personal information to us.

1. Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information: information you provide to us voluntarily, and information collected automatically when you use the Site.

1.1 Information You Provide

When you interact with the Site — for example, by submitting a contact form, requesting a dealer referral, signing up for our newsletter, or otherwise communicating with us — we may collect:

  • Your full name and postal address
  • Your email address and telephone number
  • The nature of your inquiry or request (e.g., product information, dealer locator, warranty inquiry)
  • Any other information you choose to include in a message or form submission

We do not operate an e-commerce storefront on this Site. We do not collect payment card information or process financial transactions directly through this Site.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers and third-party analytics tools automatically collect certain technical and usage data, including:

  • Your IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it
  • Browser type, version, and language settings
  • Operating system and device type
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on each page
  • Referring website address and search terms used to reach the Site
  • Date and time of your visit

This information is collected using cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies, as described in Section 4 below.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including:

  • Social media platforms (such as Meta/Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn) when you interact with our content or advertising on those platforms
  • Authorized affiliate partners who drive traffic to our lead generation funnels or landing pages, where you have submitted a form and provided consent to be contacted by MasterShield®
  • Intent data and audience segmentation tools that identify consumers who have expressed interest in gutter protection products through online search behavior or content engagement. This data is used exclusively for advertising targeting (such as retargeting campaigns and direct mail) and is never used for direct phone or text outreach unless you have separately submitted a form and provided explicit consent
  • Analytics and advertising partners who provide aggregated audience insights

We combine information from third-party sources with data collected directly from you to improve our marketing, qualify leads, and understand our audience. We do not purchase personal contact information from data brokers for the purpose of unsolicited direct outreach.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Authorized Dealers. If you submit a request for a dealer referral or use our dealer locator feature, you are requesting that we connect you with one or more authorized Dealers in your area. We will share your contact information with the relevant authorized Dealer(s) so they may follow up with you regarding your request. We do not evaluate, guarantee, or endorse the performance, pricing, or conduct of any Dealer to whom your information is referred. Each Dealer is an independently owned and operated business and is solely responsible for its own use of your information once received. Dealer privacy policies govern information once it has been shared with them.

Service Providers. We engage third-party companies to perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer relationship management, and advertising. These service providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us, and they are required to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security standards.

Business Transfers. If MGP Manufacturing LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar corporate transaction, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Legal Requirements and Protection. We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements; (c) protect the rights, property, or safety of MGP Manufacturing LLC, our users, or the public; or (d) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

Aggregate and De-Identified Data. We may share aggregated or de-identified information — which cannot reasonably be used to identify you — with business partners, advertisers, and other third parties for industry analysis, research, and marketing purposes.

Lead Generation Program. We operate a structured lead generation program through which qualified homeowners are connected with authorized MasterShield® Dealers. If you submit a form through a MasterShield® landing page or lead funnel — whether hosted on MasterShield.com, a subdomain thereof, or an authorized affiliate page that uses MGP-approved consent language — your information will be shared with the authorized Dealer serving your geographic area for the purpose of scheduling an appointment. By submitting such a form, you are expressly requesting this referral. The Dealer will contact you directly to schedule a consultation. MGP Manufacturing LLC does not guarantee any specific outcome from this referral. All affiliate partners in our lead generation program are contractually required to use MGP-approved consent language and are prohibited from independently collecting or retaining your personal information outside of the MGP-approved funnel.
