Dealer Independence and Installation Responsibility Disclaimer

MasterShield® gutter protection products, along with other products manufactured by MGP Manufacturing LLC under the Klean Gutter®, MicroMax™, and other brand names, are sold and installed exclusively through independently owned and operated authorized Dealers. MGP Manufacturing LLC is the manufacturer and brand owner only. We are not a party to any transaction, contract, or agreement between you and any Dealer.

MGP Manufacturing LLC does not control, supervise, or guarantee the pricing, installation quality, workmanship, business practices, customer service, or financial condition of any Dealer. Installation practices are controlled entirely by the Dealer. MGP Manufacturing LLC does not supervise or direct any installation. Compliance with applicable building codes, local ordinances, manufacturer installation guidelines, and safety regulations is the sole responsibility of the Dealer performing the installation. A Dealer’s status as “authorized” reflects only that the Dealer has entered into a dealer agreement with MGP Manufacturing LLC — it is not an endorsement of any Dealer’s operations, workmanship, or code compliance. Any dispute arising from a Dealer transaction is solely between you and that Dealer.

No Agency or Apparent Authority. Authorized Dealers are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, partners, franchisees, or representatives of MGP Manufacturing LLC. Dealers have no authority to make representations, warranties, guarantees, or commitments on behalf of MGP Manufacturing LLC. Any statements, promises, estimates, warranties, or representations made by a Dealer — including any made during a sales presentation, estimate, or installation — are made solely by that Dealer and are not attributable to MGP Manufacturing LLC. The fact that a Dealer uses MasterShield® branding, product imagery, or marketing materials does not create any agency relationship or apparent authority to bind MGP Manufacturing LLC.

No Product Warranty Created by This Site

No statement, photograph, video, product description, performance claim, or other Content on this Site constitutes a product warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, any reference to debris shedding, clog prevention, water flow performance, ice dam resistance, copper protection, or any other product characteristic described or depicted on this Site.

The only warranty applicable to MasterShield® products is the written product warranty provided separately at the time of purchase through an authorized Dealer. Any product warranty rights you may have arise solely from that written document. Website Content is not a warranty and cannot be relied upon as one.

Product Performance Disclaimer

MasterShield® gutter guard systems are engineered and manufactured to industry-leading performance standards. However, actual performance may vary depending on factors outside our control, including but not limited to: roof pitch and configuration, local climate and weather conditions, surrounding tree species and debris volume, gutter condition and sizing, and the quality of installation performed by the Dealer.

No representation on this Site constitutes a guarantee of specific performance outcomes for any individual installation. Product specifications, features, and availability are subject to change without notice.

Maintenance Expectations

No gutter protection system eliminates all maintenance under all conditions. Depending on the surrounding environment, roof configuration, tree coverage, weather patterns, and other factors, periodic inspection or maintenance of gutters and gutter protection systems may still be necessary. Accumulation of debris on top of a gutter guard, near roof valleys, or in other areas of the roof system may occur in certain conditions and does not necessarily indicate a product defect or failure.

Roof and Structure Condition Disclaimer

Proper performance of any gutter protection system depends on the condition of the existing roof, fascia, soffit, gutters, and drainage components. MasterShield® products are designed to be installed on homes where these components are in sound condition. Pre-existing roof defects, damaged fascia boards, improperly pitched gutters, inadequate drainage design, or other structural issues may affect system performance and are outside the control of MGP Manufacturing LLC. MGP Manufacturing LLC is not responsible for any damage or performance issues arising from pre-existing structural or roofing conditions that were present at the time of installation.

Extreme Weather Disclaimer

Gutter protection systems are designed to manage typical rainfall and debris conditions when properly installed. However, extreme weather events — including severe storms, heavy snowfall, ice accumulation, high winds, or unusually intense rainfall — may exceed the drainage capacity of any gutter system. During such conditions, temporary water overflow or debris accumulation may occur and does not necessarily indicate a defect in the product or a failure of the installation.

User Reliance Disclaimer
